Social Entrepreneurship
Our mission in the Excelsior Community College Office of Graduate Studies is to structure the programmes offered to facilitate our students through case studies, lectures, classroom dialogue, and industry leaders to think strategically with a socially conscious business mindset. Students will conduct research, build social entrepreneurship models, and do one of the following:
(a) Developing a social enterprise that addresses a specific social issue
(b) Develop a model compatible with an existing social enterprise and partner with that organization to introduce, develop the working processes, and execute the model within the organization
(c) Partner with their organization of employment to introduce a social entrepreneurship model or managing an existing one within the organization
