These groups provide a variety of involvement opportunities for both full- and part-time students, ranging from academic and cultural to civic and special interest. With the exception of students in the School of Nursing and those pursuing CXC courses, all students are expected to complete 30 hours of community service. On completion of the 30 hours, a report MUST be submitted to the office of the Social Outreach Co-ordinator. The report MUST be submitted in the academic year in which the project was completed.

The Counseling Services Unit is designed to promote the social, emotional, and general wellbeing of all students, staff, and faculty. As the environment permits, students who wish to travel overseas to fulfill the internship component of their programme of study or to seek summer employment, may apply to a college-approved agency to facilitate their travel and placement. Students on such programmes are expected to bear all the associated costs, including administrative fees, the cost of visa application, air and ground travel, and accommodation.
