Overview

This Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) include theories and practices related to hiring processes, administrative services, performance management, staff administration, and training and development. Human Resource Management is an essential part of any business and deals with recruiting the right people for the right positions, managing and offering guidance to employees during employment to a company. An important skill taught in this programme is the managing of people according to differences in organizational cultures. Students who graduate with this Master in HRM, can choose from the following careers:
human resource officer, office manager, occupational psychologist, career adviser, recruitment consultant, training and development officer, among others.

Matriculation

To matriculate to the programme, applicants must fulfil one of the following:

  • Holders of a Bachelor of Science Degree with at least a GPA of 2.5.
  • Mature entry (Application of Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition – PLAR).

Persons who do not have the required GPA or uses Mature entry may be accepted through an interview process, submission of a portfolio and assigned bridging courses. The potential candidate should demonstrate work experience and additional certification achieved.
